Imagine the freedom you will experience when your brush strokes make the shape and form of your subject without picky detail. Mastering a loose technique is the groundwork that will enable you to paint intuitively. Specific brush technique, juxtaposition of values and use of visual texture and rhythm to create your scene are the focus of this course. We will paint from life and from your reference photos. Each class starts with a demonstration specific to the learning for the day.

What can I bring into the event?

You will receive a supplies list included with the confirmation email you will receive after registering. You should bring the recommended supplies with you to the class or workshop.

What’s the refund policy?

No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes or workshops. Full refunds will be given in circumstances where classes and/or workshops must be canceled by the instructor or by Art League of Hilton Head.
