Daufuskie Island GullahFest

Festival celebrating the rich Gullah heritage of Daufuskie Island, which sits at the center of the Gullah Geechee Corridor. As featured in Southern Living magazine’s 2023 June/July issue, Daufuskie Island is a Coastal Getaway that can only be reached by boat. There will be drums, food, vendors, and live music with a surprise guest. Come and bring the family so that they can learn that we are all descendants of Gullah!!

You will have to cross the water, and you will need to arrange your ferry ticket and golf cart to get around once you arrive. This is not Daufuskie Day, which is an homage for descendants of the island and has never been since its inception, a Gullah festival. That is why this one is the first of its kind!
