Whole-Food Plant-Based Supper Club — “Indian Summer”
September 9, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
September can be the best part of summer—Indian Summer! The days are a touch cooler. The skies are clear blue. The beaches stretch long and empty. The Lowcountry settles back to being a small-town community. And…there’s the added spice of hurricane excitement! Are you ready for some Indian Summer taste travels? Healtlhy and delicious taste travels from the sublime, to the sultry, with a subtle kick of spice? You won’t want to miss experiencing the “Indian Summer” Supper Club on September 9!
The Whole-Food Plant-Based Supper Club is a monthly event on Hilton Head Island that provides whole-person health education. Participants pay a reservation fee which gives them the opportunity to eat a tasty, whole-foods, plant-based meal. Dr. Karen Holland demonstrates how to prepare the meal that is being served in addition to providing cutting edge news in nutritional science and lifestyle medicine. Each supper club also comes with an inspirational talk to keep participants motivated on their journey, drawings for free prizes, and the infamous “Oxygen Cocktail!” Recipes are e-mailed to attendees after the meeting.
This Supper Club is perfect for the person beginning to experiment with a plant-based diet and wanting great-tasting simple-to-prepare recipes/meals for themselves and their families. . . to the experienced whole-food plant-based individual who enjoys expanding their food and health horizons.
What can I bring into the event?
You need to bring yourself, an open mind, and a receptive heart. In addition you probably want to bring a pen and something to take notes on.
Please don’t bring any food – we’ll take care of that for you. You won’t go away hungry after this delicious three-course meal!
What’s the refund policy?
All reservations are non-refundable purchases.* Should something come up and you cannot attend, you can: 1) sell the ticket to someone else as a means of getting your money back, or 2) give the ticket to someone else as a gift and watch how they will be blessed and how God will bless you for your generosity!
*However, with Hurricane Dorian an outside potential threat, we wil refund tickets in the event of a mandated hurricane evacuation for the Lowcountry.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes. Although we want you to feel at home in the supper club, it’s always a good idea to have your ticket with you in case of a mix-up.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Because we do not refund tickets, you may sell or give your ticket to someone else should you realize you cannot attend.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
We hope the only reason why this would happen is because you’ve sold or given your ticket away to someone else. So, of course, the name of the attendee does not need to match the name on the ticket.
