The 2020 Bluffton Boiled Peanut Festival is set for September 12th, 2020. The event will run from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM. This annual event is in its 9th year and is being hosted by Bluffton Rotary. Home of the World’s Largest Peanut (this peanut was built by the Bluffton Boilers), you and your family will have the perfect Instagram moment. Who knows, it may be the perfect Christmas card photo op! Details below.
The Bluffton Historical Preservation Society & The Heritage Peanut Company present the 9th Annual Bluffton Boiled Peanut Festival! This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 12:00-5:00 pm on Common Ground at the Heyward House in Downtown Bluffton. The festival will feature all you can eat boiled peanuts, live music, a boiled peanut cook-off, and the World’s Largest Boiled Peanut on display for all to see!
The highlight of the event, the boiled peanut cook-off, brings some of the finest boiled peanut purveyors in all the land together for the coveted title of “Best Nuts in Town”. The 2020 categories include traditional, spicy and creative. Our distinguished panel of judges will award the top prize to each category as well as top overall. To enter your peanuts, Click Here.
Come out and enjoy classic fiddle music ranging in genres from country, bluegrass to modern hits performed by local artists, Evan Rose and Sweet D from 3:00-7:00 pm. Admission is $10.00 per adult, which includes all you can eat peanuts, and children 12 and under are free. Beer, soft drinks, and water will be available for purchase and D’Amici Pizza will also be sold on-site.
